KWAN Ming Wai Kelly is an artist working in the painting discipline. She reinterprets aesthetics of violence and reconstructs the definition of painting. The artist’s distinctive facture, use of impasto and dynamic brushwork represents her psychology and philosophy. Specifically, her works, which are hinged between the ambiguity of abstraction and representation, challenge the performativity of painting.

關明蕙是以繪畫為主的藝術家。她重新演繹暴力美學和詮釋繪畫的本質。藝術家運用厚重的油彩和流動的筆觸處理畫面，借此手法表達她的心境和哲學。她的畫作利用情感游走於抽象和具象的模糊界線之間，挑戰繪畫的表演性。
